Yes. No account, no license key, no expiry, no nag screen. If you're scanning your own home network, personal lab, or equipment you own — it's free. Full feature access, no artificial limits.
What counts as commercial use?
If you're getting paid to do work that involves ClumsyNetWatch — even indirectly — it's commercial. Any organization (company, LLC, partnership) using it internally also requires a commercial license. When in doubt, send us an email and we'll give you a straight answer.
Do MSPs need a license?
Yes. Using ClumsyNetWatch to scan managed client networks — even as part of routine maintenance — is commercial use. Contact us for MSP pricing; we can quote per-seat or per-client-network rates.
Can I get a site license for my whole team?
Yes. Contact us with your team size and we'll quote a flat per-seat or per-site rate.
Is there a trial for commercial use?
Email us with your use case. We can work out an evaluation period before you commit to a license.
What is the Commons Clause?
ClumsyNetWatch ships under MIT License + Commons Clause. The Commons Clause restricts selling the software or offering it as a commercial service without a separate license from Clumsy's Lab LLC. Full terms in the EULA.
